Born in Los Angeles, California in 1978, I have lived in both Europe and California. I now reside in Sacramento, CA and teach Fine Arts at a local high school. I am also the resident artist for MARGINS Artist & Scribes.
I am a folk artist and loves to create art with a variety of media. I have been commissioned for works in businesses in both Sacramento and Rome, Italy. Designing and painting murals for private collection in various cities in California is a passion of mine.
Most recently, my work has been shown in two solo exhibitions in Sacramento: Oct-Jan 2012 at Spanish Fly Hair Garage and January 2014 at Golden Bear. While living in Rome, my work was exhibited in a group exhibition at the Pyramid Art Studio in December 2006 and as a solo artist at The White Antler Gallery in 2007.
Taking inspiration from my travels throughout Europe and her love of nature, I combine incredible color schemes and bold bands of color. My paintings possess an entrancing mystical quality in the rainbow of colors that make up her palette. In my abstract paintings, I want to lure the viewer into my world of color and edge through imagery and bright colors.
